The Managing partner of the firm was of the founding team of Ernst & Young “Iraq” in year 2004, and also of the founding team of PwC “Iraq” in year 2009.

GGi is a member of the European Group of International Accounting Networks and Associations (EGIAN). EGIAN provides a forum for the members to develop common positions on specific technical and legislative issues and to debate these issues with key professional stakeholders and regulators such as The European Union, CESR (The Committee of European Securities Regulators), FEE (The Federation of European Accountants) and IFAC (The International Federation of Accountants).​

One of the main objectives of EGIAN is to best serve the public interest by acting as a lobby group to these key professional stakeholders to represent the common views and perspectives of the members in relation to key professional debates and legislations.

Since Audit, Tax and Management Advisory are related to law in many aspects, GGi initiated to be of the founding members of the Association of International Law Firm Networks (AILFN), which is a membership organization of international, regional, and specialty law firm networks. Members’ independent law firms  have more than 5,000 offices in 110 countries with over 150,000 attorneys.
